Selected Works
from 2003

| The following collection of paintings (acrylics on canvas) explored a voice, into the discussion of large scale
social, political and environmental issues, in the form of an imaginative
narrative intended to establish a sense of urgency to the drama of the fast
disappearing natural world in the wake of the expanding boundaries of
civilization. In these works "Nature" is portrayed as a series of isolated
remnants with a future that is tenuous at best.
The original canvases produced one single copy, printed
on canvas at a size larger than the original, the print magnifies the technical
minutia of the work while giving the work a scale more relevant to the narrative
of the subject matter.

"Blue Ridgeline Remnant"
The contrast of our use of the
resources is not in the destruction we leave behind but in the fact that we did
not know how to care.
