Tiité's Work
| The work that I do is a kind of
contemporary art that is in direct contrast to the art that fits the many
descriptions of modernism up to the year 2010. My practice is not new for
the sake of new but because more of the same no longer services either art
or the cultural needs of a new century. My work is a serious attempt to
contribute to the new awakening of our species to the choice of transitioning to a
new higher state of humanity rather than remaining tied to a strategy
that has run it course and has nothing better than extinction left to
offer. I propose that when you look at my work you are looking at a potential future that is within our grasp, should we choose to dare. The narrative of my work is essential because we are in new territory and it must be described as best as possible in order to map the best route into the future. |
