This statement is about sharing the excitement I feel concerning the opportunities that are still available for us as a species to further develop and to take advantage of the opportunities available to us to use our creative ability. It is not too difficult to visualize a world were the aesthetic ambitions of art are merged with the aesthetic intent of Nature in allowing life to be a sustainable continuity of ever evolving ways to survive and to do so with a measure of happiness.

I invented Data A art as a way of responding to the demands of 21st century conditions in our world. Aware of the need by humanity for new dreams. Data A art is a recipe to frame a new dialog concerning art and life. Data A art finding roots on a new cultural organizing principle that is based upon a partnership between human creativity and Nature's experience in the survival of life. That is to say that our conception of life is extended beyond the human sphere to encompass all life on earth as the basis for our survival while our sense of aesthetic is extended to the role of co-creator with Nature.

Data A art contributes a very unique time and space characteristic, which, separates it from all preceding art directions and notions. Namely, that it allows the objects of art to render the perception of a temporal separation between the "past" and the "now" to take place as a means to enable a greater critical focus on "what is" withstanding the past but separated by a new narrative that uses the future as the focus for the direction of its developing history.

Data A art opens up, a whole new avenue of creativity which can again distinguish the arts as a vital and creative cultural driver as we strive to correct the course of civilization towards a sustainable continuity in this the most critical century for our species and the world we know.

The central kernel that makes possible the outline of a new cultural strategy, is a proposition were human creativity joins nature's creativity in a collaborative partnership that is new to the planet. That partnership is mediated by another idea which is expressed in a narrative that I incorporated into the word Sufficiency. Frankly, sufficiency is not my idea, rather, it is like many other great ideas an extract from nature that for some reason I managed to grasp in a primitive and rudimentary way. Much work remains to be done to explore Sufficiency due to the fact that I'm just presenting it as an aesthetic expedient useful to conceive a new way to see the world. Therefore after four decades of wide spread inquiry and experimentation, the concept of Sufficiency has yield the material that informs the art proposition that I have named Data A art .
