My work is about the urgent task to make art relevant to the cultural challenges that civilization faces in the 21st century.

I believe that art can embrace a path of utility that can respond creatively to address critical survival issues regarding the sustainability of civilization and the environment of the world.

With the worldwide Peace Marker Project, I and the collaborative of artists taking part in it, intend to demonstrate that our species can work together globally to address such issues. Worldwide Peace Marker Project is a work of art that is constructing within the boundaries of the work of art, a model of world peace.

The completion of this model will not only create the first truly global work of art but it will stand as evidence that civilization can evolve to embrace new and more relevant survival strategies, and the role the arts can play in their development.
